Dom Pérignon

Prestige cuvée (vintage only)

The most famous Champagne in the world, Dom Pérignon is a vintage-only prestige cuvée produced only in years deemed worthy and aged for nearly a decade before release.

History

Dom Pérignon began as the prestige cuvée of Moët and Chandon and is named after the Benedictine monk credited with advancing Champagne winemaking. It is one of the few vintage-only houses, declaring a wine only when the year is judged exceptional. In more than a century, only a limited number of vintages have been released.

Style and Character

Dom Pérignon is crafted from Grand Cru and Premier Cru fruit and aged for at least seven to nine years before release. It is precise, elegant and complex, built to evolve. Its Plénitude system reflects its ageing potential, with later P2 and P3 releases disgorged after much longer maturation to reveal new dimensions.

INVESTMENT NOTES

Why collectors and investors pay attention

Dom Pérignon is arguably the most recognised luxury wine brand on earth, which underpins exceptional global liquidity. While the standard vintage is produced in large volumes, the late-disgorged P2 and P3 releases and the finest vintages offer the strongest investment characteristics. Champagne has been one of the better performing fine wine categories in recent years.
