Château Lafite Rothschild Dinner - Les Ducs, Singapore

We were delighted to host an unforgettable dinner in Singapore with some of our valued clients, in partnership with Château Lafite Rothschild. Set against the backdrop of the city's skyline, the evening unfolded course by course, each dish thoughtfully paired with wines drawn from across the Domaines Barons de Rothschild portfolio, a rare chance for guests to taste the range and depth of one of Bordeaux's most storied estates side by side.

The wines themselves were the true centerpiece of the evening. The lineup opened with the Château Duhart-Milon Blanc 2023, a crisp and vibrant start that set the tone for the evening. From there, guests moved into the Château L'Évangile 2012, a Pomerol prized for its lush texture and depth. The heart of the tasting was a vertical of Château Lafite Rothschild itself, spanning the 1996, 2003, and 2009 vintages, giving guests a rare opportunity to trace the estate's evolution across three distinct decades and vintage conditions, from the classic elegance of the 1996 to the riper intensity of 2003 and the polish of 2009. The evening closed on a high note with the Château Rieussec 2018, whose golden sweetness and honeyed complexity made for a memorable finish alongside dessert.

Beyond the exceptional pours, the evening was about the people around the table. Conversations moved easily from the stories behind each vintage to the relationships that have grown alongside them over the years, and the room carried that easy warmth that comes from long-standing trust between friends and partners. It was a fitting tribute to a partnership built on shared appreciation for craftsmanship, patience, and the pursuit of excellence.
