Château Lafite Rothschild Dinner - Isola, Dubai

On Friday 24th October, The Cellar Advisor Dubai team welcomed Château Lafite Rothschild to the city for an exceptional tasting and dinner. Held at Isola, the evening brought together a select group of our Dubai clients for an intimate look at one of Bordeaux's most celebrated names, guided throughout by insights into the estate's history, philosophy, and winemaking approach.

Across four courses, guests were taken on a journey through the Domaines Barons de Rothschild portfolio, beginning with the Château Duhart-Milon Blanc 2023, a bright and refined opener, before moving into the Château L'Évangile 2012, a Pomerol known for its rich texture and depth. The evening's centrepiece was a vertical tasting of Château Lafite Rothschild across the 1996, 2003, and 2009 vintages, offering a rare side-by-side look at how the estate's signature elegance and structure express themselves differently with time and vintage character. The night closed with the Château Rieussec 2018, its golden sweetness providing the perfect counterpoint to dessert and a fitting finish to the tasting.

Each pairing was thoughtfully matched to highlight the range and depth of Lafite's stable, from crisp whites through to structured reds and a luxurious Sauternes to close.

The evening served as an excellent opportunity for Cellar Advisor to showcase the calibre of wines we can access, while also supporting and engaging with our local clients.
